Palm Treo Pro Windows Mobile 6.1 Smartphone (Sprint) | ||
Palm Treo Pro Smartphone | A CDMA version of Palm's Treo Pro is coming to Sprint. It will replace the Treo 800w, which was released in mid-2008. The Treo Pro 850w has a darker, sleeker and glossier design than previous Treos and a slightly different keyboard. Features include built-in Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0, GPS, a microSD flash memory card slot, a 1500mAh Li-Ion battery and a 2MP camera. The Sprint version of the Treo Pro will, of course, be a CDMA handset; an unlocked GSM/GPRS version is currently sold by Palm for wireless networks like T-Mobile and AT&T Mobility. Sprint will begin selling the Palm Treo Pro in late February or March 2009 online, in Sprint retail stores and through BestBuy. Have information or questions about the Sprint Palm Treo Pro? . |

Sony X1 Windows Mobile Phone | Sony Ericsson has entered the Windows Mobile market with the XPERIA X1, a touchscreen smartphone with several new and innovative features. The XPERIA's 3" touchscreen display slides to expose a full QWERTY keyboard, but rather than sliding over or up, the screen slides on an angled curve (see gallery), a so-called "Arc-slider" design. The X1 also offers some new Windows Mobile UI eye-candy, including panels which can be used to move about the operating system (seen left). Primary features include EDGE/UMTS/HSDPA network connectivity, a VGA-resolution touchscreen display (which promises DVD-quality video), a 3.2MP digital camera, built-in Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, aGPS, a microSD flash memory card slot and up to 400MB of onboard memory. The U.S. version of the XPERIA, the X1a, is currently being sold unlocked and will work with SIM-based wireless networks like AT&T. No word yet on when wireless carriers in the U.S. are expected to offer the handset. Have questions or information regarding the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1 Windows Mobile 6 Smartphone? |
